“KARNATAKA TO HOST ITS FIRST “US SMART CITY” By CEO Pravin Rai – US Global Business Forum
The First US smart City has been planned in Chikkaballapur District in Bangalore in the State of Karnataka. PDC Ventures Inc of USA whose founder Chairman is Mr Kevin Kishore Kaul, a Indian Naval Officer and also part of the founding team of Jawahar Lal Nehru Port Trust left for USA in 1991. Ever since then he has been planning to develop this nation with American assistance. The capital will be provided by the Investor’s who are also members of US Global Business Forum (USGBF) for this project and all other similar project in India happening & will happen in India in future. This project will be designed by F & A Architects & its group based in California, USA

The First US Smart City is been planned at 16 km from North West of the City of the Bangalore. Near Bangalore International Airport (Kempegowda). The US Smart City will be Hosted / developed on land bank which is spread over on 3250 Acres.

A joint initiative of PDC Venture Inc. USA & PDC Ventures India (P) Ltd for Development of US Smart City along with a California based companies who are in Defense, IT and Theme Park will be joint venturing with PDC Ventures India Pvt. Ltd in this concept in Chikkaballapur spread over 3250 Acres of land in Karnataka, Further classified as follows:
(a) 500 Acres for Mixed Development (Unclassified)
(b) 1500 Acres for Defense Products
(c) 500 Acres for IT Park
(d) 500 Acres for Logistic & Integrated Park
(e) 200 Acres for Theme Park
(f) 50 Acres for utilities and miscellaneous

To achieve the following objectives:
- The Company proposes to establish mixed use American designed & built concept,initially with total investment of USD200 Million (Rs.1300/-Crore) in Bidadi, Chikkaballapura, Devanahalli, Hosakote, Tumakuru, and Mysuru in Karnataka, with pilot project in Chikkaballapura with American Design & Build Residential, commercial, Defense related IT services (unclassified products ), Hospital, University, Theme Park, Aviation & Space related services
- The Government of Karnataka will provide the requisite support for implementation of the above project in the State.
